Resolution of the CC of the PCE (M-L)

On 18 and 19 June took place the meeting of the Plenary of the Central Committee of the PCE (ml) which analyzed the international and domestic situation, work on different fronts and identified the main tasks of the party in the coming months.

The CC found that both internationally and domestically with the crisis as a backdrop, it is giving an acceleration of events with increasing contradictions between the imperialist powers, outlining the configuration of two large blocks, and increase peoples’ struggle against imperialism and its allies, local oligarchies, fight spreads throughout the world, including the old continent.

Domestically, the economic crisis and its effects are exacerbated and hit again and again to reach the grassroots and policy level with the breakdown of social-liberalism (PSOE) and the regime itself. Reactionary neo-liberal policies implemented by the Zapatero government, and the absence of a true popular respect and left, have facilitated the electoral success of right caveman PP in the elections of May 22, which will further degradation of the famished democracy.

It is in this context arises the movement on 15-M as an expression of weariness of the popular sectors, especially the youth, so much speculation and corruption, lack of democracy, life expectations, and so on. Although sectors of the oligarchy have tried from the start handle and lead the movement to a dead end, the 19-J has shown that the Movement will be 15-M is slipping away from those who try to drive down the lanes of the indefinite and non-political consensus: the protests are even more massive in every corner of Spain, are some new popular sectors (workers, public employees, retirees, housewives, …) and claims to be biased and have limited become broader, more politically charged and class content: in defense of public education and health, against privatization and welfare cuts, against the pension reform by progressive taxation per unit of the popular classes, for a true democracy …

The Pact of the Euro and the Decree-Law on Collective Bargaining will be a twist against the working majority, which joined the call for general strike launched by the 15-M Movement for next October predict a fall hot. UGT and CCOO trade unions should listen to the groundswell of general strike and join, promote and organize the same, and all those movements that are necessary. In this sense, work the PCE (ml), which strongly advocated the unity of the Movement 15-M, the labor movement and union of the fabric of the neighborhoods and the progressive forces of progress as a basic condition of the workers and popular struggles .

In view of the unit and provide an objective political struggles, the Central Committee has welcomed the agreement of the First Meeting Municipal Republican proposal from the Platform of Citizens for the Republic, to participate in the next General Election; because it will help make visible the Republic as an alternative to outdated system of government, without a future, incapable of satisfying the most elementary needs of the vast majority of the population and harmful, while shown as a space to encourage popular unity, to promote the popular building block that addresses oligarchic block attacks.

The Central Committee of the PCE (ML) calls on the people and forces honest, progressive and left to participate in the General Election as a unit under the banner of the republic.

For the unity, future and democracy, the Third Republic!

Adelante!
