According to some information released by the Iranian IRIB agency, Saif al Islam said his captors in his first interview that 6 days after the fall of Benghazi in the hands of the counterrevolution, the Americans got in touch with him. We have proposed a coup d’etat against his father to pursue a policy of liberalization of the oil sector. Saif has rejected the plan arguing that the presence of his father as head of state was a guarantee of safety. After which the Americans have broken contact with him. The last contact with the Americans, his father was hours before his assassination on October 20. They assured the Leader that no danger threatened him and that could leave without suffering Sirte arrest or attack. Saif has said. “The Americans did not keep their word.”
